Terry Fox Fundraiser

Students at Lakedell are busy walking/running each day to see how many km we can chart to support Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools Walk Across Canada in support of the memory of Terry Fox. So far students and staff at Lakedell have walked 112 km yesterday and today! We look forward to seeing how many laps we can make throughout the week until we celebrate with our Terry Fox Run on Tuesday, September 26th at 2 p.m.  Families are welcome to come and join in the walk.

Last year students raised $2808.20! We hope to meet that goal and more this year. Thank you for supporting our Terry Fox Fundraiser. Our students learn empathy, determination, strength and courage through their participation in this event.
